A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO CLOSING THE EDUCATIONAL WEALTH GAP IN COMMUNITIES OF COLOR AND ENCOURAGING BLACK AND BROWN YOUTH TO PURSUE HIGHER LEARNING.
We act as an agency of change through our Hollywood Homecoming Weekend experience and cornerstone event which offers a network of curated resources to promote college readiness. Our mission is to increase awareness of HBCUs and strengthen our community by producing the first and only HBCU Homecoming Experience in Los Angeles while creating scholarships funded by its proceeds.

A Catalyst For Change
In the Los Angeles metro area, only 18% of Black students are enrolled in AP classes, putting their college preparedness at a disadvantage relative to their counterparts. We want to change that.
HHW aims to increase HBCU admissions and fill the information vacuum that exists in poverty-stricken communities by helping our youth navigate the college experience and find resources tailored to their unique needs.
